$DEGEN was NOT created by the Farcaster team. I noticed this very common misconception among new users (and even older ones) People think degen and Warpcast are “the same thing” Although both are vital to one another, they are not actually connected

People don't realize that FC is essentially Web3's version of Twitter. They still think FC is just another isolated project that will handle one or three things related to them and maybe some collabs

All that you said is right But imo at this point Degen is a culture project....in the sense that it's the face of both warpcast and farcaster And I laugh at people who still think Degen is a meme coin 🤣😭

I agree and I also often notice that people don't want to know what's going on in farc and when they hear only about degen they think that's the only thing to do here, it's very absurd to see such things

Yeah in the beginning of my FC journey I was also led by this misconception but I learned with the time that Farcaster and degen are not the same, newcomers should know this 👍🏼
