I agree with the general sentiment, but in this specific case, much fewer people take MDMA than alcohol and tobacco, so it’s not comparable.

The graph is per capita. There’s likely some big self-selection bias as to who’s using while it’s illegal that skews that data a bit, but probably not enough to raise the per capita number by many orders of magnitude.

Assuming of course the graph doesn’t come from some shitty source that just takes the 50 total deaths number and divides it by 100,000, that would be dumb :/
