I agree with the general sentiment, but in this specific case, much fewer people take MDMA than alcohol and tobacco, so it’s not comparable.

they really help reduce the competition for those who made the laws tho, perhaps that’s why they exist.

drug laws are there to create monopolies for those willing to break them.
