I also believe most of the tech guys will ditch RFK’s ideas once we start getting into implementation details. Who exactly is enforcing all these rules on food companies about additives/ultra processed foods that are core to the platform? The 3 letter agencies this group crows constantly about getting rid of and say overreach? Who decides what is good and bad? Are you prepared to lose your right to make unhealthy choices? Or be forced to exercise? Exercise mandates a la seatbelt law? It’s easy to be “for health” in the abstract. Less easy to think of solutions that follow our liberal traditions.

I think i get your point, Kat And tbh it’s important for em to strike a balance between promoting public health and protecting individual freedoms But do you think a middle ground can be found, that promotes public health while also respecting individual freedoms?

For the right-libertarian, no I do not. Change will require laws and regulations that put the human’s interests over the business’ and I believe this will be too unpalatable for this group.
