Ichihime Shrine is very unique in Kyoto. It’s the only shrine I know of that is made up of all female deities and whose sole purpose is to protect women. The shrine was founded in 795 but relocated to its current site in 1591. The city is built up around it and you’ll miss it walking by because you can’t see the shrine from the street due to the buildings. I thought this was an appropriate place to thank everyone supporting me daily with tips. It means a lot to me to have your support as an artist. My deepest thanks and I asked today that these goddesses protect you and ensure your prosperity. I also drank the sacred spring water to make sure it sticks.
