Does recasting do anything?

Yes! It exposes the cast to all of your followers home feed algorithm.

Also liking and replying to a cast will make it more likely to appear in home feeds as well.

Does recasting a previous cast of your *own* push it back out to feeds? (not quote cast)

I'm interested in playing around with different times for posting to see what I get in terms of engagement.

Same — but if it’s like a bump in the feed later, I’ll totally recast again a few hours later for people in another time zone

People who open the app later are just as likely to see it — it's based on engagement, not timestamp
