Does recasting do anything? Yes! It exposes the cast to all of your followers home feed algorithm. Also liking and replying to a cast will make it more likely to appear in home feeds as well.

Does recasting a previous cast of your *own* push it back out to feeds? (not quote cast) I'm interested in playing around with different times for posting to see what I get in terms of engagement.

I'm assuming it doesn't have an impact, but can find out

Same — but if it’s like a bump in the feed later, I’ll totally recast again a few hours later for people in another time zone

People who open the app later are just as likely to see it — it's based on engagement, not timestamp

In their home feed. How about channel feeds though?

That’s good to know. Let us know (when you know😄) if recasting and liking does anything — or if we are waisting out storage like @trebor69 is suggesting

So recasting and liking our own casts is not useless?
