9 years ago today it was the Monday after the Super Bowl and I was in labor with my second child. 

the second time around was a breeze, honest to god— my eldest’s labor had taught me my biggest life lesson, to relax into pain.  so, early that Monday morning I was gazing into my youngest’s eyes less than an hour after arriving at the hospital.

For the record, I didn’t want to be a mom—or that was the plan, to live out my days with partner—and no kids. 

When I first “felt” my kids it felt chaotic and I didn’t know what to think of it—in hindsight I was holding their energies with mine and it felt immense to shoulder. As they slowly became little humans and integrated their own energies I can feel what I had been carrying energetically was theirs. 

I do feel changed—in part because I have been holding and slowly releasing parts of their being back to them, this is all how I feel this energetically—

I don’t know that I can speak for all mothers, but upon reflection we have the opportunity to become more intuitive—my girls feel like ancestors sent to live along side and grow with me.

I’m an Aquarius sun, Libra rising, and Aries moon. I’m not a mother yet, but I do want to experience motherhood at some point in my life.
