unable to give users something fun to do, we'll just give them another thing to own instead of "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy" crypto feels more like "you'll own everything, you won't be happy, and no one will care"

ens was always something I could help people outside crypto understand - register a name! its cheap, you can receive funds to it, use it as a web domain, etc having seen 4-5 domain speculation cycles, I know how this ends and will be fading it entirely, I just don't care anymore

yeah just feels like a suboptimal product. just because it can be made doesn't mean it should. ens does this better and nobody will care about these next week unless some airdrop happens. and then, again, nobody will care. more of a 'poap' than anything.
