Blue Lock Anime · 2022 · ★★★★½ Most Japanese sports anime is about the long game: friendship, team work, realizing that winning isn’t everything, and watching out main characters grow slowly. Blue Lock is none of that. It’s about winner take all, being the best, and the action hooks you from episode one, which is rare these days! Now that season 2 is airing, I think it’s time to give this a shot! Even if you aren’t a huge soccer fan, you’ll love watching one crazy guy try to change Japanese soccer into a world contender and you won’t be disappointed!

I love a good sports anime, and I can honestly talk a big game about almost any sport because of Anime. I’ll tell you a funny story about ending up at a very high-level boxing match in Las Vegas on accident because someone asked me to come and they had extra tickets and I was able to hold my own talking about all of the boxers and their strategy and the type of boxing they did and it was 100,000% because of Hanime no Ippo. When I said that one of the guys wasn’t going to do well because he was an in boxer and this fight didn’t match his style I got so many cool points.

This is really funny and captivating at the same time 😂😭, people like you are really rare, most of the girls I know are really into slice of life, romance and probably shounen because of its high publicity but to be a sports anime type of girl is really nice
