We probably watch too much TV, but parenting is hard and we just need the time to relax sometimes. I am careful not to rely too much on mobile phones as a way of keeping my kids occupied so they don't mess around. I don't like anything with an interactive screen, even less something they can hold, and it saddens me, and worries me if I'm being entirely honest, to see so many kids, babies sometimes even, out with their parents, or grandparents, and sat glued to a mobile phone, while their parents do the same. I see this all the time and try my best to avoid it in my family. Kids in the park, kids in restaurants, babies in buggies all glued to mobile phone screens. That has been the single biggest societal changed for me over the last ten years, it's awful. 0 reply
