If you have a post with 10,000 viewers 1% of them tip .50 that’s $50 direct to creator with none of the bad feelings of speculation involved for either party We have all the building blocks for this today but don’t do it because …. ? Too hard to socialize the behavior? Profit motive — trading leads to many more txn for the chains and platforms? Content is actually valueless and no one will ever pay?

The content is already free so the pay for it part is voluntary, and active (it requires you to access the warplet, load it with usdc if you haven't done so already, manually search for the user and send a tip across), there is no immediate indication on the post itself thaat you have tipped, so others don't see this as general and accepted behaviour, and most people don't do this anyway, frankly because they are tight, and the content has already been consumed. It was free, why should I have to pay for it. Encouraging this kind of transition to monetize content, however, I'm much moree in favour of than jesse pollak's steaming bowl of shit version.

Earnings per post would be so cool I get that people are cheap but in the aggregate a couple of cents adds up If you believe DWR stables are going to be a liquid layer running across the internet — so friction of USDC bootstrapping will end. Just need to start the socialization now :)
