just seen this, I've actually got loads of questions! Let me know when you're back online. I've been publishing books on amazon for the last 12 years and have a massive catalogue of content.

just had a quick look at the website - seems like this doesn't work in the same way for authors as Amazon in that I can't just open an account and publish a book to be available on the platform, right? I need to submit content that's then approved by you guys for sale - is that correct? Does content have to be limited edition and only available exclusively on your platform? Or can it be published elsewhere/have an unlimited digital edition run? What's our fee split royalty model? Is there any content you don't/won't publish - lots of online sites have issues with erotic content for example. Sorry of these questions have been asked already!

Not at all, these questions are super useful! 1. Our platform was designed from the ground up with self-publishing in mind, and most of our authors have used our publish tool to publish their collections themselves. When a book is published on our platform, it is instantly catalogued and listed in our store. Our platform is designed and prepared for scalable distribution. At the moment our platform is approval-only, for a number of reasons, but the main one being that we don’t have the resources that a distribution platform like Amazon has to handle content moderation quickly. Combined with the fact that onchain publishing is far more permanent than web2 digital publishing. We also work carefully in collaboration with every author and publisher who publishes on our platform. As we scale, these things will certainly change, but this is how we do it now in order to ensure everyone has the best possible experience. In the future we do want to open up self-publishing. Our primary goal is empowering authors!
