There’s a lot of talk right now about Moxie prices and sentiment. There is a misconception that the project is facing heavy sell pressure but when you actually look at the numbers, that’s not the case.

Order volume has been low, and while there have been more sells than buys, the difference is pretty minimal—like 8-12K/day. It’s not a huge wall of red, instead just a small gap.

In other words, I don’t think there is as much to worry about here as it looks like. Yes, price is currently in the shitter, but I don’t think it always will be. The /airstack team is working on features that should increase demand on the buy side. On top of this, Moxie is being heavily integrated into the rest of the Farcaster ecosystem. It’s only  matter of time. How much time is the question. What’s your time horizon?

An increase of $8k - $12k USD of Moxie buy pressure is all it takes for the price trend to reverse

The problem is, nobody is buying. And nobody is buying because nobody has a reason to buy. TVL in fan tokens doesn't matter if there is nothing that drives buy pressure. Again, this all comes back to buy and burn emissions which are so low now it's not even moving the needle. Is everything hanging on Moxie promote?

Thanks Taylor, i know youre bullish and i hope you're right. It's a decent moonshot if it does go up, and i hope it does obviously! I'm just not convinced that Farscore means as much as it did with the reduced emissions which means less of a reason to buy than before. Hard to judge with so many locked and users unable to indicate preference to keep or sell until the time elapses.

Moxie promote will certainly help the situation, but I wouldn't say everything is hanging on it. FTs still have utility in boosting farscore, and many have additional utilities creators have enabled. 

Price will find a bottom if it hasn't already, and once we got some positive price movement people will start to FOMO back in.
