A few things change from the last time I went out. I don't dynamic stretch, I don't drink alcohol the night before, and I do go back to the park to train. The 2.1 km loop around the perimeter, the circuit i know so well I could probably do it with my eyes closed. I'll keep this short because I felt flat today, my brain wasn't buzzing with anything much at all, so there's very little to report. First and last kms were very hard. I didn't feel like giving up like I usually do just after setting out, but I did feel like giving up during the last km. That always seems to be difficult for me. Brain fed me some good vibes through the second and third kms, trying to convince me I could do three laps- on the 4th km, it was clear that was a top signal (telling myself I can do x amount even before I've completed what I came to do). From then on it got difficult. Other than that, internal monologue covered kids, writing, Black Mirror reflections, relationship, and investments.

I did notice this time that I slipped into a phase of automatic thinking where I'm not even aware I'm thinking consciously, until I become aware of it and then try to guide the subject of thought, or at least there is that perception of control. This is good, because this unawareness of thinking (you realise it is happening, or has been happening by then, when you consciously catch yourself doing it, much like a dream would melt upon awakening, is an approximation off what I would call a flow state. 6.04 5.55 5.57 5.56 5.52 0.50 (.13 km)
