So I used to think the French were arrogant. 

Now I’m starting to think they’re just honest.

What made you think this way? 

My theory - they just like good life and not willing to compromise ever

I always noticed French look down on anything outside Paris (it’s v comical)

But actually… Paris is objectively better?

When my wife and I were dating, she was studying in Paris and I was there every weekend (from London)

After a while, arriving at Kings Cross was such a downer

i feel like we're talking about the same thing here in the essence
