So here’s what I actually think: I like the L1 is slow and principled as long as app layer is able to be fast and convenient Solana is making a Faustian bargain imo by making the speed on the consensus layer itself (they have made significant tradeoffs imo that will be easy to exploit in geopolitical crises) I’m glad to be betting on vitalik for credible neutrality and Jesse for onchain virality

ETH needs to figure out a way to charge the L2s more for block space and settlement Not even sure if a new economic model with L2s is really possible but it’s necessary Other than that, the only answer is to scale the L1 and spur more demand (activity) for mainnet block space
