I just checked AQIs of various cities right now. Beijing is around 2x LA and NYC. Here's some historical data for Beijing over the last 10 years: https://www.statista.com/statistics/690823/china-annual-pm25-particle-levels-beijing/

A striking % of the many people I know from major Chinese cities have some kind of chronic ENT issues. I’m talking about in many cases people in their early 20s, active athletes. CCP would *never* allow this data to actually circulate but I would bet there is an absolute health epidemic.
