Good take Listeners are finding that it's hard for someone to be "fake" on long-pod. Authenticity comes through (if any exists) On the other hand, it's kind of sloppy and half-formed. Writing pushes us to think through our thoughts and structure them for the reader - a la peak PG Wonder what Plato would think

I think it’s downstream of the audience demand. People are maybe more likely to passively listen to a podcast w wide distribution than read an essay - so the supply side adapts But agree the mediums have their different constraints and advantages/advantages
