Good take Listeners are finding that it's hard for someone to be "fake" on long-pod. Authenticity comes through (if any exists) On the other hand, it's kind of sloppy and half-formed. Writing pushes us to think through our thoughts and structure them for the reader - a la peak PG Wonder what Plato would think

yes and the best part about video podcasts is that they are the most composable or remixable form of media one video podcast can be made into - short-form video clips (to distribute on YT shorts, tiktok, X, etc) - long-form writing (raw/edited transcript, or an essay) - short-form writing (tweets/casts about insights gleaned from the convo) this is probably why we saw growth in podcasts alongside proliferation of LLMs
