it isn’t, everyone has what ticks or triggers them, if cutting communication (blocking) does that, they might as well do. reduces future discord

I’d argue that sometimes triggers are a problem with you and not a problem with them. (Not true with the very worst of bullies, but these are pretty rare imo)
