I proposed the name Gray Tribe as it came from Scott Alexander. But perhaps a better name is Tech Tribe, as it’s more legible.

Ive been amazed at how effective “gray” is w non-techy moderates, eg: “You know this red-blue thing is insane. The gray party is people on the cutting edge of tech who reject red-blue to focus on massive human progress.” Can you imagine how powerful it would be if Tech Tribe can win the moderate center?!

This strikes me as more fitting for a "moderate" party whereas gray is a party on a new plane altogether. (In addition to gray already having momentum as a meme through Balaji and others)
