My favorite place is Little Egg in Prospect Heights.

I've known the chef/owner there for a while he's a great guy. Lives with his family in the apartment above the restaurant.

I'd def recommend getting one of their housemade pastries as an appetizer. (I had the apple pie croissant one recently. Don't like apple pie usually but it was amazing.)

Little Egg is next on my list!! Those sandwiches look sooo good.
