It's not confusing to me personally (and I agree w you it may be the right long term move) but.... telling a new person all about "Farcaster" and then giving them the call-to-action of downloading "Warpcast" inevitably confuses them

people i have onboarded say out “Warpcaster” loud and it’s kinda embarrassing to correct them coz…it’s not really their fault

Fwiw @dwr.eth; we've had the FC/WC model with GET/GUTS where GET is the onchain ticketing protocol and GUTS the flagship ticketing front. Currently 20 ticketing clients running on the protocol. Still, the confusion won't fade and we'll be fixing it in a couple of weeks, ~7 years after we started.
