To me and you it is, I think šŸ˜‚ Many other translators have this as ā€œEconomicusā€ ā€” but I think people donā€™t see the household part

I support "Oikonomikos". Using "Economicus" makes it look as if the word existed and had the same meaning, and does not allow the reader to understand where "economy" comes from. For anyone not familiar with what we talk about: ĪŸĪ¹ĪŗĪæĪ½ĪæĪ¼ĪÆĪ± = ĪæĪÆĪŗĪæĻ‚ + Ī½ĪæĪ¼Ī® ~= house + division/distribution/control/governance One could say that the literate translation could be "household".
