sooo real talk, what does someone have to do to get an art patron nowadays? does that exist anymore? i want one of those old-fashioned setups where they pay my expenses for a year and they can keep everything i produce. i just want uninterrupted time to work on honing my crafts; time to improve and explore. because right now i am so overloaded and art has the unfortunate tendency to be forced into the backseat.

We were talking about this last night on @pichi’s state of the union. How there are circuits of ppl who pump each other’s work and flip pieces. To keep up we have to really grind which takes away any remaining joy.
