I feel belittled by it. If somebody wants to convince me to eat fish from that region, catch me in a quiet second of my day and explain. You can say: But this is for the population. But then I still feel like it is the monkey-imitation version of communication, and I‘m feeling offended if I‘m smarter than a monkey

I think it depends on the use case! I'd definitely be more willing to go on someone's rocket if the company's CEO and chief engineer had been on flights on that same craft.
