Distribute posts via a newsletter, charge for the newsletter, make your best stuff free to draw in new subscribers and send rough ideas / early sketches to your subscribers I tried this for 2-3 years, not worth the expectation unless you are writing full time. Turns a fun hobby into a job imo

Depends on your analytics. If you already have a free newsletter subscription setup than the post which results in the most subscriptions is usually a good candidate
