i respect @balajis.eth, but rarely does he decouple the power/promise of crypto from the collapse/destruction of society as we know it. the dark imagery may appeal to anarchists, but what if we used imagery that appealed to alternative revolutionist personas (eg George Washington)? could we better inspire the masses?

100% agreed - and the entire: „get ready for societal collapse“ rather creates a narrative nobody wants and everybody would hate us for. The truth is, the state will stick around and have some power still. And it‘ll be a very delicate line to walk on for us. I wouldn‘t frame it as us against them

It'd be a lot better to talk about societal transition or upgrade. Collapse means that millions of people will suffer and those who manage to exit will just leave them behind. It's never too late to reclaim the leadership role in a way that reconciles everyone's common interests. Let's go from x to y, this is the plan.
