Today was a really rough day. After five days of heat, and having to quasi involuntarily go to the beach because of a power outage in the village, finally this 👇 became the view from the balcony. It really scared me beyond many prior experiences and made me understand how privileged I Am. It‘s out now 😮💨

The good thing about it is that it made me get to know others in the village more closely and I’m understanding the way how things are dealt and viewed here in Sicily. As a German, I have to stay flexible. We‘re in Italy, not Berlin…
