Don‘t waste time/money shipping an iOS app. If your app has a strong viral mechanic (earn money, or fun component), it makes no sense to ship a polished iOS app. I.e., a trading app differentiates itself through growth/opportunity, not it‘s beautiful UI. A PWA is faster to ship and has same potential to onboard.

We built degenmeetsregen.com literally in 12hrs and it onboarded a lot of people despite nobody being able to earn anything and despite it not having utility, and it being a PWA. It‘s ridiculous that the advice is: „ship an iOS app“ The trickiest part is designing around a viral loop and all its constraints.

You have to admit that native apps are: - faster - better for the UX - better for distribution & branding It’s an undertaking and you shouldn’t jump on the hype train but at some point you might need to craft a snappy experience for consumer crypto lol

Sure but the conversation around PWAs was that they feel like shit by Salvino who literally built a trading app for degens who would have used anything as long as people could speculate
