Don‘t waste time/money shipping an iOS app. If your app has a strong viral mechanic (earn money, or fun component), it makes no sense to ship a polished iOS app. I.e., a trading app differentiates itself through growth/opportunity, not it‘s beautiful UI. A PWA is faster to ship and has same potential to onboard.

We built degenmeetsregen.com literally in 12hrs and it onboarded a lot of people despite nobody being able to earn anything and despite it not having utility, and it being a PWA. It‘s ridiculous that the advice is: „ship an iOS app“ The trickiest part is designing around a viral loop and all its constraints.

"same potential" how? I'd love this to be true but have yet to see any PWA reach escape velocity.

Totally agree considering cost PWA are your go to. However, sometimes you still need that native feel of an actual app. It's my opinion tho as a software engineer
