After this week, I think one of the most important products you could build in crypto is “USDC/T minting for retail”. Like a crypto exchange, but never custodial: you send fiat, and it mints USD* to your specified address, never taking custody. Need to trade using DeFi.

Similarly, you then allow off-ramps though the platform. Basically a “bridge” for fiat. Biggest challenge is how you monetize/scale/etc. given the high cost of long tail KYC.

Does it need to mint? Or can it just buy USDC from Coinbase and send it to your address? What's the naunced difference vs Coinbase today? I'm basically using Coinbase as a fiat bridge :)

I would be surprised if this doesn’t already exist as an API to facilitate paying out salaries in crypto. But yeah 💯 useful as a stand-alone UI

I’ve never fully understood the appeal of (most) physical Bitcoin ATMs, but there’s also something satisfying about imagining a USDC/T machine where you: - put in cash - scan a QR code - get USDC sent to that address
