devcaster: I have an old MBP that I’d like to keep running “forever” with the lid closed (screen is broken). I’ve tried setting this in user settings, and running with “caffeinate” but it doesn’t seem to do it. any suggestions?

Once you have your sleep mode figured out, be sure to add some external cooling to it or it’ll bake. The keyboard is used to dissipate heat, as well as the area behind the hinge, which is closed when the top is closed. 🔥
