nope, I saw a post a day or two ago about it which chastised crypto participants for not reading the ToS and considering the tax implications lol

Ah ok. It’s on everyone’s minds i guess. Someone earlier threw it in my face that these airdrops are tiny, but I was talking about how historically (with respect to the airdrops one would have received) selling airdrops and then buying back in is arguably the best strategy in most cases since you would be unlikely to benefit by holding and would have to find another way to cover the tax implication.

haha yes it definitely matters for large airdrops since you are taxed at the value received so need to be careful which of course is stupid like everything re: crypto with the CRA or IRS
