Elon seems to at least serve in other ways. Ie power and conquering frontier. Starlink is a legitimate good you know? Like despite his deadbeat dad energy he has some good to his name. Old Vinay up there has nothing

Not sure if sarcasm or not so forgive me if I’m responding to a /s comment: > Starlink is a legitimate good you know? I think low earth satellite internet is a legitimate good but a privately owned one is problematic especially when the only person who can compete on price for satellite launches is Elon. This is a very slippery slope to a super centralized, highly censorable internet, owned by one of the most capricious human beings in the public sphere.

It’s not a static situation and his volatility may just as well be his downfall. Similar to electric cars he created the market anew and now it is up to all of us to ensure he can’t go all totalitarian with it
