Oh yeah. NYT should be avoided like the plague. Even the WP is better and not by much. LA Times for some things. I prefer online exclusives like NPR, Democracy Now, and the Intercept in terms of US outlets.

As far as big papers go, there’s not many trustworthy ones anymore. They’re so reliant on sponsorship and endowment that they are incapable of honesty. 

Canada has no good papers (almost all owned by the same group), CBC is ok but refuses to cover a number of topics and is very pro-Canada. The Tyee is a hit or miss progressive source. 

Europe has The Guardian and Le Monde which are both ok. The Economist can be good sometimes as can the BBC. But again the issue is these, like the US, and Canada, are built to toe the line for imperialist agendas and their blatant display of this discredits them.

I don't know why I always forget I should be reading the Guardian instead of the NYT.

Bannon openly identified as alt-right, if he did a Nazi salute he woulld own it not deny it. btw schoolkids used to do the roman salute in the USA to the flag instead of hand on heart.
