Regardless, until we either have 100% paper ballots again or have voting machines with open source software everyone should consider any elections we have to be illegitimate. There is so much power and money at stake that the temptation to manipulate results is huge. Closed source software for national elections is absolutely insane. What's also insane is that you literally can't even bring this issue up without being accused of being a right wing conspiracy theorist.
