I have been lucky to never have had migraines but I also heard on an interview with a neuroscientist that drinking water with electrolyte salts regularly Was shown to help curb them in a clinical trial. So maybe something to try if you haven’t!

ahhh you are so lucky. they are the most debilitating illness — i can deal with pretty much anything else, but when my head flares up — im bed bound! it’s the worst! yes, staying hydrated def helps to sometimes keep them at bay, but if you are a chronic sufferer like myself and a bunch of artists here — there is really nothing that helps, especially if one really kicks up. then you are pretty much screwed. i’ve gotten them since i was in 7th grade & they last for days, sometimes weeks at a time — and i can tell you, it’s enough to make you admit yourself into the hospital.

That sounds awful and I'm sorry you go through that! The study I heard about was specifically about the electrolyte salts more than the hydration! It was surprising that something that simple seemed to have such an effect. I drink "LMNT" water every day. It's awesome stuff. This is not where I heard it, but this article also supports that finding: https://migrainebuddy.com/exploring-the-connection-between-migraine-and-electrolyte-imbalance/ Just something to consider trying if you haven't!
