gm gm arteeeest & /mfers i wanted to share a new artistic avenue that im exploring w a dear brilliant artist friend of mine, @kiim_kearney (on twitter & insta -- check out her work if you have a moment) she's teaching me the ins and outs of 'faux wood teak' making for pretty much anything, but mostly the boating industry! this is my first piece of "faux" teak -- the coloring is off here, but i am the student learning a new craft testing new techniques, colors, textures & materials...man am i in my element!

i try to look up, down & around everywhere i go bc like ive said a thousand times or more — i see /art-everywhere a simple chandelier in my mind can can fill the corners of a jpeg like code creates a generative art piece there’s beauty everywhere we look!

gm gm arteeeest & /mfers hope everyone has had a wonderful week! i'm finally getting rid of that awful cold! been messing around w a new-ish app called 'art set' that has this wonderful ability to select any type of artistic tool - i mean, you can basically do this in procreate, but in artset you can pick oils, or acrylics, or pastels...and man, its fun! if you like to create digital work that very much resembles irl work...give it a try! just a quick paint job with artset :) //artset: figurative studies 1
