Yes, we do need "compelling value-accruing tokens", but I don't see a "US regulatory framework that allows for alt tokens [..] with security-like features" happening.

If regulators give us a framework that enshrines the concept of progressive decentralization for founders building (real) decentralized networks and attaches some regulatory exemptions to it, that will already be a huge win!

But real value-accruing tokens will emerge when we put real securities onchain. That should be our north star... and it sure is Fairmint’s!
