France decided last night to start taxing non-residents, like the US does.
It's so easy... 

To take a startup analogy, it's like governments have a "fundraising" button that they could push anytime they want and money just flows in without needing to answer any questions like "What's your current traction? what's your burn? How are the funds going to be used?"

No accountability. Nothing. Pathetic and revolting.

Still early yes. It's an amendment that was adopted last night. Still need to officially adopted... but it seems very likely! Nobody cares about non-residents 🤷
