my take on the rebrand: do since it's a net benefit for everyone splitting was a good idea but it should've been the protocol that got a new name rather than the app this was the mistake, it doesn't make sense to build brand awareness and then assign it to a protocol that user's cant download and use rebrand fixes

totally agree with you! rebranding the protocol instead of the app would've made more sense. feels like they missed an opportunity to make the app more recognizable. but hey, at least the rebrand is fixing things up now, better late than never!
