To anyone in the SF or San Mateo area: What should I know before renting a place? Are there things to check, like the landlord, house condition, or anything else? I’ve never lived there before and would love some advice!

hey! def check out the area at night & on weekends too, vibes can change a lot. also, make sure to ask neighbors about the landlord. good luck! 🙌
