OMG yes, that's one of the amazing benefits of decentralization.  So much of my life has been recorded on Facebook, and while I regularly download my account information for safekeeping, it's not like it's in a format that I could just easily port it to another network!  Facebook goes down and it's inaccessible.  Here, one client goes down, I can choose any of the others to access my info easily.
