So, I noticed a tic of LLM writing awhile back, a dead giveaway for generated output. "It's not so much X, but rather is Y" and a ton of variations of it. I'm seeing it eeeevvvverrryyywhere now. Almost every news article, tons of posts on social media. The internet as we know it is dead. Gonna be wild to see where this goes.

Not dead, evolving. The environment creates specific selection pressures, and we have a role in those. We can participate passively, or we can do so deliberately.

Well, I guess that's right, but each individual only has so much they can do if their intent is to communicate with other humans, which is what I meant by internet as we know it. I tend to also think it's dead from a cybersecurity POV, the poison out there is ubiquitous and the protocols holding it up are very vulnerable from what I have been able to glean from a layman's perspective, like I read that a team accidentally created a method for predicting prime numbers which if it holds up to scrutiny means shit could get weird really really soon.
