Yep, made her up in my 20s.  Had a desperate craving for a connection so something beyond myself, but none of the religions I'd explored did anything for me on a deep level - intellectually fascinating, beautiful rituals, lot of wisdom, but also, a lot of being stuck in the past and unwillingness to evolve.

So decided to just make a deity up.  I call her Paradox, Everything and Nothing, the Cosmos Herself.  

That led me on a wild ride that escalated into accidental enlightenment.

And now She bugs other people, too 🤣

Okay well first things first, made up deity??

Same way I spend most of my days.  Reading and writing and consuming and creating contenting, tending to the house and cats, and doing deep meditation and contemplation.

Rainy day just means I spend more time inside than outside - same with cold days.

Monasticism always appealed to me, and I have a particular fascination with religion, but felt no real connection to any of them.  Played around with Discordianism in my 20s, decided why not make up my own deity, and then things got weird.  I took my hermit vows in December 2020, and I revisit and choose whether or not to renew them and continue the lifestyle yearly.  It works for me.  I'm a hardcore introvert and all I want to do is spend the rest of my life learning everything I can and going so deep within meditation and contemplation that my being dissolves for awhile until I remember I like being human and come back to it again.

Taco Bell.  They have a luxe box meal deal for $7 and you get like three taco/burrito-type items and a side of either nachos or cinnamon twists with a drink.  LOT of calories for super cheap 🤣

Working on my bachelor's in philosophy, considering adding an anthropology minor.  Will probably do grad school, too, just to pick up some more research skills for future personal interest projects.
