interesting, hadn't heard of this kinda like the idea tbh. feels like a network state ideology but grounded in... the reality of the world it's giving "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em and make change from within"

It was mostly libertarians doing it. The idea was get enough people to move to an area to begin to influence the politics of the area. They picked New Hampshire. Theoretically, a left-leaning group could do the same, if they could stop the infighting and gather enough people to commit.
