Terrible by what indicators? Profit? Sure, they are absolutely terrible for that. But there's more to a fulfilling life and business than just profit.

Yes. If you're passion is money? It makes sense to target the highest-profit businesses. But if your passion is food or feeding people? The a restaurant it is.
