you should do it! I admit that today’s race didn’t quite inspire me to do an ironman, but it is an awe-inspiring athletic feat and it did make me want to take my running more seriously :) it was a cool vibe!

lol no trouble! he just was cutting it close to the cutoff and they pulled him out of the race so they could start reopening the roads. but we later checked the cutoff times and they should’ve let him keep going :/ only about half the folks who started the race finished, they were quite aggressive with the cutoffs!

one of my filthiest american maneuvers is that I will always use the beer glasses for drinking water in the german airport lounges (the beer glasses are much larger than the water glasses, and like any good american, I just love to hydrate)
